My Grammy Joan makes a lot of really cool stuff.  You might remember back at Christmas when I discussed my very favorite Christmas decoration.  (If not, you can go here)

Another thing that Grammy Joan is famous for are her elaborate birthday cards.  We receive don't receive them every birthday, but when we do we know it's a big one.  I have received a number of them over my life, and here is the latest:

It is totally personalized and clearly took time and effort.  Inside are pictures of many of my family members (dating back to my maternal great grandfather!) who are all 27 at the time that the picture has been taken.  It's a pretty cool comparison.

After that are more pages that spell out the letters of my name followed by an encouraging note at the end.

I know that throughout the days when she is reading magazines and catalogs she looks for key words and letters that would be nice in a card.  For example, the word Hefty is even located inside.
