Sort of a Photographer?

Well, maybe not yet, but I did go to  photography class recently and I learned SO much.  Most importantly, I learned more about what settings to use in action.

I spoke the language (aperature, ISO, etc.) but I had no idea when and how to use it.  Lucky for me, one of our friends is a photographer and held a beginner's class.  It was a really good class you guys.  I learned how to use my fancy camera and even some artistic angles and such.

I bought my camera to take pictures of my fast moving and fast growing children without that weird delay on cameras that causes you to miss the moment.  I don't plan on making a  job out of it or anything.

My photographer friend is really good.  You can see his website here and you can like them on Facebook here.  The studio does babies, weddings, families, and high school seniors, and I'm sure there's more.  They print their copies really artistically.  On canvas, yes, but also on wood and metal, and other things.  Pretty cool stuff.

After playing around one day, here are some of my favorites.  They capture my guy's big personality, but they are also not blurry and I think the light looks nice (personally).  I'm no expert, but I am happy.  :)

  1. Those are great! I, too, get annoyed with the delay on my little digital camera....I have missed so many good shots because of that!

He's just about as cute as he can be!!!
