Feeling Downright SAUCY!

I can't believe what I am about to say.  The excitement is brimming!

For most of what I can remember of my life, St. Pete has been the home to a personal favorite restaurant of mine.  I remember being in 4th grade and wanting to work there as a hostess when I "grew up" into my teen years.

Today, our family still dines at CD Roma Restaurant of St. Pete almost every day (JK, but I could!) frequently.

1462 66th Street North, St. Petersburg FL 33710

Their pizza is big and cheesy and it comes out on a really cool pizza stand.  I think I could eat their Italian dressing by itself in mass quantities.  Their "early bird" specials are super filling AND include a drink.  They have spruced it up a little, okay a LOT by completely moving locations, adding an eat-at bar, while still maintaining an awesome family atmosphere.

Here's my favorite part though.  I love the bread sticks.  They are hot and garlic-buttery, they have a distinct shape to them that I would recognize anywhere.  They are awesome by themselves, but they are even better dipped in one of the yummy sauces.

Here's where you come in.  Here's where my heart starts singing notes like the Defying Gravity note in Wicked.  CD Roma is generously giving Ten Thousand Reasons Blog readers a free sauce just by mentioning the blog!  Here are the details:

Blog Special Mention Ten Thousand Reasons and receive a complementary sauce (marinara or meat sauce) for your bread sticks. Valid until 9/30/2013 (one month after the blog is posted)
*offer can not be combined with any other specials, coupons, or offers. One order of sauce per table, regardless of separate checks*

Gah! If you're like me and you're putting your shoes on now to head out the door, the address is in the caption of the photo.

    1. You are too kind, but I would be impressed if you could resist just a little dip :)

  2. All my years in St. Pete I don't remember ever going there. Sherrye or Max will tell me if I have. But, after your accolades about the place, how could anyone resist? I probably won't make it there by the end of September, but I'll be sure and take you and your family for supper next time I'm down.
