Conversations with the 3 Year Old

I don't know if we've featured any conversations since he turned three...  Oh well, here are just a couple of recent conversations we've had.

~Driving home from church last Sunday:

C:  God was in the oven.
Lukas and me:  Pause.  What?
C:  Yeah, the king, he was getting angrier and angrier.
Us:  What was making him so angry?
C:  The three boys, they just wouldn't bow wow.  They would not bow wow, so they had to go in the oven.  But God was in the oven.

Ah, the Bible according to our guy. (452)

~Sitting on the couch talking about something, I don't even know what, I hear C say to Lukas:

"Sorry sweetheart, we just don't have anymore!" (453)

~On a recent road trip to Georgia (an 8-9 hour drive) we are 2 streets from our house and in the car for about 2 minutes when C says,

"This is not hard."

About 3 minutes and 10 streets later we hear from the back seat:

"It's getting harder!" (454)

OH and a bonus:

This summer we were in the car getting ready to see my good friend Katie.  We were talking about all of the fun we were going to have and talking about Katie when Cameron gets a curious look on his face and asks,

"Does Katie have a belly-button?"

Oh how he makes my heart sing! (455)
